Flutter Developer 💩

Want to make an impact in the world of parenting and childcare? Join our fast-growing start-up as our Flutter developer!

What will you do?

We’re looking for a developer to own our Flutter and TypeScript codebase end-to-end, ensuring reliability and strong security.

    • Maintain and improve our Flutter mobile app (iOS and Android) and Flutter Web portal.
    • Refactor for performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
    • Enforce privacy-by-design and GDPR best practices (data minimization, retention, DSR flows).
    • Design UX/UI screens and flows; translate user feedback into clear, intuitive flows and refine visuals for both the app and B2B dashboard.
    • Work closely with sales, support and product development.

What we’re looking for

    • BSc or MSc Computer Science degree (or relevant experience).
    • 5+ years with Flutter/Dart in production.
    • Experience developing native iOS and Android apps.
    • Experience with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging).
    • Experience writing unit and integration tests.
    • Comfortable with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Fastlane).
    • Familiar with payments/subscriptions (RevenueCat).
    • Experience with App Store / Play Store release management.
    • Basic UX chops and a feel for accessible UI.
    • Communicate clearly: you can explain technical decisions to both developers and non-technical teammates.
    • Adapt fast: you learn, iterate, and stay calm when priorities shift.
    • No 9-to-5 mentality. This, of course, comes with flexibility and the freedom to manage your own time and schedule.
    • Proficient in English and/or Dutch (we communicate in English and Dutch).
    • Nice to have: you have developed Flutter web apps in production.
    • Based commutable distance from The Hague, the Netherlands (note: fully remote working is not an option for this position).

What we offer

    • A part-time position (24 hours per week, flexible work arrangements)
    • Hybrid working (from our office in The Hague and from home as needed)
    • A key role in our fast-growing startup where you’ll truly make an impact.
    • Plenty of freedom and responsibility to make your mark.
    • A competitive salary including pension scheme and stock options (note: you won’t earn the absolute most, but you will make the world a little better and collaborate with a super fun team 😉).
    • Start date: January 1, 2026.

For the little ones of today and the planet of tomorrow.
