Data Analayst 💩Â
We make software that helps children out of diapers. Our mission: understand what works, for which families, and bring it to as many of them as we can. Thousands of parents and professionals use De Pot Op®. We want to make even more data-based decisions to continually improve our product. You’re going to help us get there.
What will you do?
You make sure our team builds on evidence.
- Turn the data we have into insights the team actually uses. Not dashboards that collect dust, but analyses that lead to decisions.
- Develop a deeper understanding of user journeys — where things click, where they don’t, and what we can do about it.
- Map out which customer segments get the most out of De Pot Op®, and why. That shapes where we grow next.
- Design and run experiments to test what works. From hypothesis to result to recommendation.
- Translate between what the data says and what a childcare professional or municipal policy maker needs to make a call. You speak both languages.
You’ll report directly to the CTO and have high ownership over your work. No layers, no waiting for someone else to prioritize it — if you think something matters, you can act on it.
What we’re looking for
You’re early in your career, but you already think like a senior. You don’t need to know everything — you need to know how to ask the right questions.
You work independently in a team with no dedicated data department. You’re as comfortable in SQL and Python as you are in a conversation with someone who’s never heard of a funnel. And you like knowing that your work eventually reaches a family that’s better off for it.
Specifically:
- 0–2 years of experience in an analytical role
- Proficient in SQL, a BI tool (Looker, Metabase or similar) and Python or R
- Experience with product analytics tooling (Mixpanel, Amplitude or similar)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s level thinking
- Working proficiency in both Dutch and English
What we offer
- A full-time position (32 hours/week, flexible)
- Hybrid working: office in The Hague, partly from home
- A foundational role in a fast-growing social enterprise — you build the analytics from the ground up
- Market-rate salary including pension
Join our mission?
Send your CV and a short cover note. Tell us about an analysis you did that actually led somewhere. What was the question, what did you find, and what happened next?
About De Pot Op®
De Pot Op® is a social enterprise with a mission: helping children out of diapers sooner. Where children in the 1940s were potty trained around their first birthday, today that’s often not until their third. De Pot Op® is changing that. With our software we support parents, childcare organisations, and municipalities with a positive and effective approach to potty training. For the children of today and the world of tomorrow.
